Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem południową część Europy oraz zachodnią część Afryki Północnej. W Polsce nie występuje. W zbiorze Tenenbauma brak okazów dowodowych. (Smreczyński 1960). Roślina żywicielska podawana w piśmiennictwie — Tamarix gallica L. w Polsce nie występuje. Larwa żeruje w owocach, na których powoduje wyrośla.
