Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1987:

Gatunek rozmieszczony w środkowej części Europy, w Fennoskandii i Karelii, notowany poza tym z Serbii północnej, Kaukazu i Zabajkala; w obrębie areału w miarę posuwania się z północy na południe jest coraz rzadziej spotykany, w Szwecji sięgający poza koło podbiegunowe do skrajnych prowincji północnych. W Polsce znany z pojedynczych stanowisk tylko w trzech krainach. Zasiedla drzewa iglaste, zwłaszcza sosny i świerki. Występuje pod lekko odstającą korą pni, pniaków, wywrotów i szczap oraz w żerowiskach korników, głównie gatunków z rodzaju Ips De Geer.
