Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek europejsko-syberyjski. Żyje na skałach, skarpach i murach, budując bardzo charakterystyczne rurkowate ukrycia z przędzy i ziarenek piasku, kamyków, zeschłych liści itp.
