Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986a:

Gatunek kosmopolityczny, w Europie szeroko rozmieszczony, notowany przeważnie jako importowany z towarami do większych miast. W Polsce znany tylko z pojedynczych stanowisk w trzech krainach. Spotykany w magazynach żywnościowych — wśród produktów zbożowych, ryżu i suchych owoców, młynach i pomieszczeniach mieszkalnych. Znajdowany niekiedy także w warunkach naturalnych w zmurszałym drewnie i pod odstającą korą na pniach drzew.
