Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1992:

Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu i Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk głównie w południowej części kraju, dawne dane sprzed przeszło stu lat o znalezieniu tego gatunku w Ełku i okolicy Warszawy winne być potwierdzone nowymi znaleziskami. Występuje na łąkach wilgotnych, pobrzeżach drogi wód. Żyje na groszku żółtym — Lathyrus pratensis L. Samica składa jaja do pączków kwiatowych.
