Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w Europie Środkowej i w południowej części północnej Europy, notowany również z zachodniej Syberii. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, dotychczas pewne znane stanowiska leżą na południu kraju. Omyłkowo wykazany przez A. Lüllwitza (1914, 1916) z okolic Koszalina na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia, odnośne okazy dowodowe sprawdzone przez J. Makólskiego* należą do Cymindis (Cymindis) macularis Fisch. Ogólnie wykazany z Pomorza (Horion 1951), dane te wymagają jednak potwierdzenia nowszymi doniesieniami. Zasiedla suche, nasłonecznione gleby piaszczyste i żwirowate, skąpo pokryte roślinnością trawiastą lub niskimi bylinami.
