Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek zamieszkujący prawie całą Europę, nie znany jednak z Norwegii i Finlandii, podawany również z północnej Afryki. W Polsce prawdopodobnie wszędzie, lecz znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk. Omyłkowo wykazany z okolic Przemyśla przez T. Trellę (1926) na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia Cymindis (Cymindis) cingulata Dej. — (J. Makólski*). Występuje na suchych, nasłonecznionych glebach skąpo pokrytych niską roślinnością.
