Taxon description
Obszar rozsiedlenia obejmuje całą Europę Środkową, południową część Fennoskandii i zachodnią część Syberii. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i pagórkowatych, gdzie zasiedla suche, luźne gleby piaszczyste zarówno na otwartych jak i zalesionych obszarach; spotykany niekiedy gromadnie na utrwalonych wydmach piaszczystych.
