Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek znany głównie ze środkowej części Europy, docierający na zachód do Francji, a na południe do północnych Włoch, Dalmacji, Rumunii i Ukraińskiej SRR, podawany też z południowej Szwecji i Finlandii. W Polsce chrząszcz ten należy do nadzwyczajnych rzadkości — był poławiany jedynie na Śląsku Dolnym w końcu ubiegłego wieku. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i pagórkowate. Postacie dojrzałe ukazują się w kwietniu i są poławiane do czerwca. Występują na krzewach i kwitnących roślinach, głównie na pobrzeżach lasu. Imagines wyhodowano z drewna gałęzi i kory dębu oraz z hub rosnących na bukach.
