Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Mało znany gatunek europejski, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk na Ukrainie, Słowacji, Morawach, Węgrzech, w Polsce, Niemczech i we wschodniej Francji. W Polsce areał rozsiedlenia tego ryjkowca obejmuje dziewięć południowych krain na obszarach wyżynnych i górzystych. Jest rzadko spotykanym ryjkowcem kserotermofilnym, zasiedlającym suche wzgórza, skały wapienne, pobrzeża lasu i widne zarośla. Żyje na lebiodce pospolitej — Origanum vulgare L. i czyśćcu prostym — Stachys recta L.
