Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, wykazywany też z Danii, Kaukazu, Syrii i Algierii. W Polsce znany dotychczas tylko z sześciu krain. Bionomia tego gatunku poznana niedostatecznie. Postacie dojrzałe spotykano w miejscach suchych od marca do września na rumianie psim — Anthemis cotula L., rumianie żółtym — A. tinctoria L., rumianku pospolitym — Matricaria chamomilla L. i marunie bezwonnej — Tripleurospermum inodorum (L.) Schultz — Bip. W Niemczech wyhodowano imagines z koszyczków kwiatowych rumianu żółtego.
