Taxon description
Mało znany gatunek, gdyż opisany stosunkowo niedawno na podstawie okazów znalezionych w Polsce na jednym stanowisku. Autorzy opisu podają, że ryjkowiec ten żyje w środowisku roślinności kserotermicznej, prawdopodobnie na omanie wąskolistnym — Inula ensifolia L.
