Taxon description
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem głównie Europę Środkową, docierający na północ do południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, a na południe do Włoch i Ukraińskiej SRR. W Polsce znany na ogół z pojedynczych stanowisk w tylko siedmiu krainach. Larwy rozwijają się w czerwono butwiejącym drewnie dębu; jako materiał lęgowy podawano również huby porastające olchy, osiki i leszczyny. Postacie dojrzałe pojawiają się w czerwcu i lipcu.
