Rzadki gatunek, znany poza Polską z Francji, Niemiec, Szwajcarii, Włoch, Austrii, Czechosłowacji, Węgier, Jugosławii, Rumunii i europejskiej części ZSRR.
Żyje pod kamieniami w suchych i słonecznych biotopach.
