Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w całej Europie północnej i środkowej, przy tym w obszarze rozmieszczenia w miarę posuwania się na południe i zachód coraz rzadziej spotykany. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk, ale uzupełniające dane ze zbiorów wskazują na szersze jego rozmieszczenie. Zasiedla wody stojące i płynące na niżu i w górach; w Alpach sięga do około 2300 m n.p.m.
