Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa: Szwecja, Niemcy, Polska, Austria.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z głogu na korzenie okrzynu szerokolistnego — Laserpitium latifolium L. Na głogu powoduje powstawanie podobnych deformacji liści jak Dysaphis (Dysaphis) crataegi (Kalt.). Na okrzynie odwiedzany jest zawsze przez mrówki.
