Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Anglia, Holandia, Niemcy, Polska, Ukraina.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z głogu na barszcz zwyczajny — Heracleum sphondylium L., rzadziej na pasternak — Pastinaca sativa L. lub inne baldaszkowate. Na głogu powoduje powstawanie podobnych deformacji jak Dysaphis (Dysaphis) crataegi (Kalt.). Na żywicielu wtórnym odwiedzany przez mrówki.
