Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek halobiotyczny, rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie z wyjątkiem jej północno-wschodniej części, podawany również z północnej Afryki i Azji Mniejszej W zachodniej i północnej Europie żyje głównie nad brzegami morskimi, natomiast w środkowej i południowo-wschodniej na słonawiskach śródlądowych. Zasiedla miejsca szlamiste, słabo porośnięte roślinnością. Pewnymi stanowiskami w Polsce, opartymi na materiałach, są Kołobrzeg i Kotlina Jeleniogórska, inne stanowiska wymagają potwierdzenia. Na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia wykazany z Koszalina (Lüllwitz 1916), odnośne okazy należą do Dyschirius (Dyschirius) intermedius Putz. (Plewka 1970).
