Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Rzadko spotykany gatunek górski, wykazywany głównie z Alp, notowany również z nielicznych stanowisk w północnych częściach Włoch i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego. W Polsce nie występuje, nie znany również z krajów sąsiednich. Wykazywany pod koniec ubiegłego wieku z Sudetów i Wzgórz Trzebnickich i na tej podstawie ogólnikowo ze Śląska, co jednak nie znalazło później potwierdzenia; brak również omawianego gatunku w spisie chrząszczy śląskich (Gerhardt 1910). Poławiany na pobrzeżach strumieni górskich w strefie subalpejskiej.
