Taxon description
[KFP 4455: Entomoscelis adonidis] Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej i częściowo środkowej Europie oraz w krajach wokół Morza Czarnego i Kaspijskiego. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w pięciu krainach południowych. Bionomia poznana niedostatecznie. Na Słowacji poławiano go wiosną i na jesieni na glebach wapiennych i w środowiskach o charakterze stepowym na różnych roślinach, jak miłek wiosenny — Adonis vernalis L., pieprzycznik przydrożny — Cardana draba (L.) Desv., pszonak drobnokwiatowy — Erysimum cheiranthoides L. Notowany również z kapust — Brassica L., m. in. jako szkodnik rzepaku — Brassica napus L.
