Taxon description

Heintze 1990:

Gatunek rzadszy od poprzedniego (Epirrhoë alternata), żeruje na przytuliach w podobnych środowiskach i w tym samym czasie. Drugie pokolenie występuje rzadko i tylko w miejscach ciepłych, nagrzanych słońcem. Zimują poczwarki w oprzędach na ziemi lub płytko w ziemi.
