Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony w południowej i środkowej części Europy. W Europie Środkowej chrząszcz bardzo rzadko spotykany, w Polsce znany tylko z pojedynczych stanowisk w czterech południowych krainach. Wymagania ekologiczne są słabo poznane — brak zupełnie danych o bionomii tego gatunku. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano zwykle na świerkach i jodłach.
