Taxon description
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym do basenów Morza Śródziemnego i Czarnego oraz części środkowej Europy. W Polsce rozmieszczenie poznane niedostatecznie; notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w siedmiu krainach południowych, w okolicach Warszawy i rezerwacie Bielinek na Pomorzu. Jako rośliny żywicielskie były podawane w piśmiennictwie: pokrzyk wilcza jagoda — Atropa belladonna L., kolcowój szkarłatny — Lycium halimifolium Mill. i lulek czarny — Hyoscyamus niger L.
