Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Holarktyce.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z wiązów na korzenie porzeczek i agrestu. Na wiązach — Ulmus campestris L., Ulmus scabra Mill, i rzadziej na Ulmus laevis Poll., powoduje powstawanie charakterystycznych deformacji liści. Jako żywiciele wtórni znane są w Polsce następujące rośliny: Ribes aureum Pursh, Ribes rubrum L., Ribes alpinum L., Ribes nigrum L. i Ribes grossularia L. Szkodnik porzeczek; przy masowym pojawię wyrządza również szkody wiązom.
