Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986c:

Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w całej Europie prócz krańców północnych, w południowej części areału występujący głównie w górach; notowany poza tym z Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Pozwija się głównie w szyszkach świerka, rzadziej jodły lub sosny. Postacie dojrzałe bywają poławiano od kwietnia do sierpnia.
