Taxon description
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym do obszaru nad północno-wschodnimi brzegami Bałtyku; niepewne dane pochodzą poza tym z północnego Tyrolu. W Polsce odkryty stosunkowo niedawno w Wielkopolskim Parku Narodowym na dwu stanowiskach daleko odsuniętych od zwartego zasięgu gatunku. Bionomia jest słabo poznana — larwy żerują pod korą w powierzchniowej warstwie drewna.
