Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986c:

Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, docierający na zachód do Francji, a na południe do północnych Włoch, Macedonii, Dalmacji i południowego obszaru europejskiej części ZSRR, notowany również z Kaukazu i Azji Mniejszej. Wszędzie bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. W Polsce znany tylko z dwu krain, wykazywany poza tym ogólnikowo ze Śląska, ale nie uzyskało to potwierdzenia udokumentowanymi danymi, a o występowaniu omamianego gatunku na tym obszarze wątpi A. Horion (1961). Według tego autora wzmianki o występowaniu w Gdańsku i w byłych Prusach (Lentz 1876, 1879) są także błędne, a odnoszą się do E. pini (Sturm). Wymagania środowiskowe i bionomia poznane są niedostatecznie. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano w maju i czerwcu.
