Taxon description
Gatunek rozpowszechniony głównie w zachodniej i środkowej Europie, na południe sięgający do północnych Włoch i Siedmiogrodu, notowany również z południowej Anglii, Danii i jednej południowej prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce rzadko znajdowany na pojedynczych, rozproszonych stanowiskach. Znajdowany najczęściej wśród mchów na torfowiskach oraz na innych terenach wilgotnych.
