Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w zachodniej, środkowej i południowej Europie, znany również z nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części Fennoskandii. W Polsce wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy tym większość danych była oparta na bardzo dawnych znaleziskach. Występuje na bagnach, torfowiskach, wilgotnych miejscach wśród mchów, zwłaszcza z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt, w próchnicy, butwiejącym drewnie oraz w gniazdach mrówek Formica rufa L.
