Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek prawdopodobnie występuje w całej Polsce prócz Tatr (Kawecki 1958b). Niekiedy rozmnaża się masowo, wywołując szkody w uprawach sadowniczych. Europa, Ameryka Północna. Polifag.
