Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek dość pospolity, spotykany pojedynczo, pojawia się w dwu pokoleniach. Motyle latają od końca V do końca VI i w drugim pokoleniu w VII i VIII. Gąsienice, żerujące na kwiatach i niedojrzałych torebkach nasiennych lnicy pospolitej w VII i VIII oraz w IX i X, znaleźć można na brzegach lasów, miedzach i przy drogach. Zimują poczwarki w oprzędach na ziemi.
