Taxon description
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym głównie do gór i przedgórzy w środkowej Europie, notowany również z Pirenejów i północnych Bałkanów. W wyższych górach wkracza do strefy alpejskiej. W Polsce pewne jego stanowiska znane tylko z południowej części kraju, dane o występowaniu w Prusach i na Pojezierzu Mazurskim są niewiarygodne (Horion 1963). Bionomia niedostatecznie poznana, postacie dorosłe spotykane na kwiatach roślin leśnych.
