Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek występujący w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ sięgający po Wyspy Brytyjskie, Danię i południową Szwecję, notowany również z Afryki Północnej, Kaukazu i Syberii. W Polsce rozprzestrzeniony od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Zasiedla pola, przydroża, widne lasy i zarośla. Bionomia tego chrząszcza nie jest dokładnie poznana. Postacie dojrzałe zwykle spotykano na różnych wykach, jak na przykład wyce ptasiej — Vicia cracca L., wyce drobnokwiatowej — V. hirsuta (L.) S. F. Gray, wyce płowej — V. sepium L. i wyce długożagielkowej — V. tenuifolia Roth.
