Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, znany dotychczas ze Szwecji, gór i podgórzy w środkowej Europie, Francji, Szwajcarii oraz południowej Europy. Wszędzie rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany na pobrzeżacli potoków pod kamieniami, wśród mchów i w glebie między korzeniami roślin.
