Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek szeroko rozsiedlony w całej prawie Europie z wyjątkiem północnej części Fennoskandii. W Polsce występuje na terenach nizinnych i podgórskich. Żyje w stojących, drobnych zbiornikach wodnych z trawiastą roślinnością, w wodach płynących rzadko spotykany.
