Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek północnopalearktyczny, w Europie rozpowszechniony od Szkocji i skrajnych północnych prowincji Fennoskandii przez całą środkową część kontynentu aż do Pirenejów, północnych Włoch, Bośni, Serbii i północnej Bułgarii. Podawany także z Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk. Występuje na obszarach nizinnych i górzystych do wysokości około 1000 m n.p.m. Znajdowany na grzybach nadrzewnych i porastających stare pniaki, zwłaszcza w owocnikach gatunków z rodzajów: gmatwek — Daedalea (Pers.) Fr., hubiak — Fomes Fr., żagiew — Polyporus (Mich.) Fr. i stułka — Coltricia Gray.
