Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony. Występuje od północnej Afryki przez prawie całą Europę aż do południowych prowincji Szwecji, na wschód sięga do Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu i Syberii. W Polsce znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk. Zamieszkuje otwarte tereny, zasiedlając nasłonecznione gleby piaszczyste, pokryte niską i rzadko rozstawioną roślinnością.
