Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w środkowej i wschodniej Europie, na zachód docierający do północnej i wschodniej Francji, na południe do środkowych Włoch oraz Bośni i Hercegowiny, notowany poza tym z południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii oraz z Syberii. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Zamieszkuje zarówno tereny nizinne, jak i górzyste. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od kwietnia do czerwca na kwitnących drzewach i krzewach, zwłaszcza na bzie koralowym — Sambucus racemosa L.
