Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie i na Syberii.
Gatunek anholocykliczny. Żyje na spodniej stronie liści brzóz — Betula verrucosa Ehrh., Betula pubescens Ehrh., nie powodując widocznych zniekształceń.
