Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek znany głównie ze środkowej Europy, na południe sięgający do Hiszpanii, północnych Włoch i Siedmiogrodu, notowany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i pojedynczych stanowisk w Danii i Finlandii. Z Polski wykazany zaledwie z kilku rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i w górach wkraczając nawet do strefy alpejskiej. Poławiany przeważnie wieczorem w czasie lotu, niekiedy znajdowany w grzybach i pod napływkami popowodziowymi.
