Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Bardzo słabo poznany gatunek, znany dotychczas z Półwyspu Bałkańskiego i Karpat Wschodnich, notowany ponadto ze Słowacji. Z Polski stosunkowo niedawno notowany z dwu stanowisk; Ustrzyki na podstawie materiału z ubiegłego wieku (zbiór B. Kotuli) oraz na podstawie jednego samca złowionego wśród mchów w wodospadzie 26 VI 1973, w potoku Roztoki, górnym dopływie Sanu. Chrząszcze zasiedlają górskie potoki i źródła.
