Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1976:

Gatunek znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej Europie, wykazywany też z północnej Afryki. W Polsce nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany. Występuje w drobnych, zarośniętych zbiornikach leśnych lub torfowiskowych, niekiedy w okresie suszy spotykany w większych zbiornikach oraz w wodach płynących.
