Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony prawie w całej Europie z wyjątkiem skrajnych części północnych i południowych. Występuje prawdopodobnie w całej Polsce, ale nie znany jest jeszcze z wielu krain. Zamieszkuje głównie tereny pagórkowate i górzyste, gdzie sięga do górnej granicy lasu. Poławiany wśród mchów, pod opadłym listowiem, w pryzmach kompostowych, niekiedy w gniazdach mrówek Lasius fuliginosus Latr. oraz gatunków z rodzaju Myrmica Latr.
