Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w południowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Irlandii, środkowych części RFN i NRD, Sudetów, Karpat i Podola. W Polsce należy do wielkich rzadkości; notowany tylko z pojedynczych stanowisk w czterech krainach, przy czym dane o jego występowaniu opierają się na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu, dlatego też zasiedlenie omawianego chrząszcza w naszym kraju wymaga dalszych badań. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do lipca. Roślinami żywicielskimi są różne gatunki wierzb, krzaczaste dęby i leszczyny.
