Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Podgatunek nominatywny znany z północnej i wschodniej Palearktyki. Łowiony na bukach pod porostami, na jałowcach i w runie leśnym. We Francji, Włoszech, i Hiszpanii występuje drugi podgatunek, Lathys humilis meridionalis Simon, 1874.
