Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, znany głównie ze środkowej Europy, Wysp Brytyjskich, Skandynawii oraz Francji, notowany również z Bałkanów, Uralu i Afganistanu. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w czterech tylko krainach, niewątpliwie jest szerzej u nas rozsiedlony. Znajdowany na pobrzeżach wód pod napływkami, na wilgotnych miejscach w ogrodach i na polach, pod gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, ekskrementami i w pryzmach kompostowych.
