Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozsiedleniu, dotychczas notowany tylko z północno-wschodniej części Karpat. W Polsce podany przez A. Szujeckiego (1970) z połonin Bieszczadów Zachodnich jako „Leptusa (Parapisalia) n. sp. — być może L. (P.) carpathicola Scheerp.”, ale pod tą nazwą gatunek nie był opisany. Dane te odnoszą, się do Sipalia (Micropisalia) koronensis (Ganglb.) (A. Szujecki*). Wymagania ekologiczne nie znane — notowany z obszarów leśnych; w Bieszczadach występuje również ponad granicą lasu — na połoninach.
