Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony od północnych prowincji Fennoskandii przez całą środkową część Europy aż do górzystych obszarów Francji, Włoch i Jugosławii, wykazywany również z zachodniej Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk. Znajdowany przeważnie pod zmurszałą, przegrzybiałą korą na leżących pniach, w żerowiskach larw owadów, wśród mchów i porostów na drzewach oraz w hubach.
