Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający głównie Syberię oraz Fennoskandię, gdzie dociera do skrajnych obszarów północnych; notowany ponadto ze Słowacji i Tatr. W Polsce należy do rzadkości faunistycznych. Wzmianka J. Gerhardta sprzed przeszło stu lat o znalezieniu tego gatunku w Sudetach nie została później potwierdzona przez tego autora w spisie chrząszczy śląskich (1910). Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy nie są znane.
