Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek znany z południowej i wschodniej Europy, wykazywany też z Kaukazu. W Polsce nie występuje, nie notowany z krajów sąsiednich. Wzmianki o występowaniu omawianego gatunku u nas wynikały prawdopodobnie z błędnego oznaczenia bądź Limnebius (Limnebius) furcatus Baudi, bądź Limnebius (Limnebius) nitidus (Marsh.). O występowaniu na Śląsku wątpią A. Horion (1935, 1951) i K. Koch (1957). Wymagania ekologiczne nie znane.
